Haofei Shi, Professor, deputy director of the Center for Nanofabrication and System Integration. He is the winner of Chongqing Science & Technology Commission Distinguished Young Scholars Program, the member of OSA and Invited Reviewer of Optics Letters, Optics Express etc. He received the Ph.D. degree in the Institute of Optics and Electronics the Chinese Academy of Sciences and worked as a postdoc reaserch associate in University of Michigan from 2009 to 2011. He has participated in numerous projects that include projects from the 973 and the 863 programs in China, and projects in the Chinese Natural Science. His main research fields include: nano-photonic technology, carbon-nano science theory and application. He has published more than 20 peer-reviewed journal papers and 32 patents applied. One of his research on integrated micro lens was elected 2007’ important optical achievement in China. Meanwhile, his other research in nano-carbon photoelectronics was reported by BBC, Science, Science Daily, Discovery, Popular Science, R&D Magazine, Michigan Daily, MIT Technology Review, Optical Society of American, American Institute of Physics.
